
In a historic development in Pakistan’s energy sector, a major Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Trident Energy Private Limited and K.Electric. Under this agreement, advanced hybrid solar and wind power plants will be established in Sindh, which will usher Pakistan into a new era of clean, sustainable and affordable energy.
The ceremony was held at Chief Minister House Karachi, in which Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and His Highness Prince Mansoor Bin Muhammad Bin Saad Al Saud were specially present.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Habeel Ahmad Khan, CEO of Trident Energy and Mr. Monis Abdullah Alvi, CEO of K.Electric.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said on this occasion:
“This project guarantees a bright future of development, prosperity and energy for the people of Sindh and Pakistan.”
Mr. Habeel Ahmed Khan, CEO of Trident Energy expressed his views and said:
“We are proud of this historic occasion. Our aim is to make Pakistan self-sufficient in the renewable energy sector. This project will not only address the power shortage but also ensure a better and brighter future for future generations by providing environment-friendly energy.”
He added:
Trident Energy has always been committed to the principles of advanced technology and sustainable development. This partnership with K.Electric will lay the foundation for a new energy revolution in Pakistan, and we consider this partnership a national service.”
This project will not only significantly reduce the energy crisis but also create thousands of employment opportunities. According to experts, with this project, Pakistan will get a prominent position in the global race of green energy.
This cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan marks the beginning of a new era of commercial and technical partnership between the two brotherly countries.
This agreement is a sign that Pakistan is now taking strong steps towards self-sufficiency and sustainable development in the energy sector.
