Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS) and Habil Intellectual School (HIS) Sign Cooperation Framework for Establishment of a New Intellectual School

Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS), Kazakhstan’s premier network of academically elite public schools, has signed a Cooperation Framework Memorandum with Habil Intellectual School (HIS) to support the establishment of a new intellectual school grounded in academic excellence, innovation, and global best practices.
The framework memorandum was signed on behalf of Nazarbayev Intellectual School by Mr. Anuar Zhangozin, Chairman of the Executive Board, and on behalf of Habil Intellectual School (HIS) by its Chief Executive Officer, Barrister Engr. Habil Ahmed Khan.
Habil Intellectual School (HIS) is a newly incorporated institution, established specifically for the purpose of developing a next-generation school from the ground up. HIS (Private) Limited has been recently incorporated to serve as the institutional platform for this initiative. The cooperation framework with NIS provides strategic academic and institutional guidance for the design, development, and long-term positioning of the school.
Under the framework, NIS and HIS will explore collaboration in areas including:
– Academic visioning and curriculum development
– Institutional design and governance frameworks
– Teacher training and capacity building
– Student development programs and academic enrichment
– Knowledge exchange in science, technology, humanities, and leadership education
Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS) is internationally recognized for its rigorous academic standards, trilingual education model, and strong emphasis on STEM, critical thinking, and global citizenship. Habil Intellectual School (HIS) is envisioned as an intellectually rigorous, values-driven institution that integrates global educational standards with regional context. The school will place strong emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, ethical leadership, and future-ready skills.
Barrister Engr. Habil Ahmed Khan, CEO of HIS and also Chief Executive Officer of Welt Konnect, brings multidisciplinary leadership experience spanning engineering, law, infrastructure development, and strategic advisory. Through HIS, this experience is being channeled into the creation of a world-class educational institution aligned with international best practices.
Representatives from both institutions noted that the cooperation framework is intended as a substantive and practical foundation for collaboration, supporting the structured establishment and long-term evolution of Habil Intellectual School.
The NIS–HIS cooperation framework marks an important step toward strengthening educational linkages between Central and South Asia and reflects a shared commitment to developing globally competitive institutions and future leaders.
