چہلم امام حسین کے موقع پر عزاداری پر پابندی عائد

حضرت امام حسین (ع) کے چہلم سے متعلق مرکزی جلوس جمعرات کو یہاں سیکیورٹی کے نرم انتظامات کے ساتھ نکالا گیا۔

پاکستان سے دہشت گردی کے خاتمے کے پیش نظر سیاسی گروہوں اور مقامی باشندوں نے جلوس کے راستوں سے غیر ضروری حفاظتی اقدامات اٹھانے کا مطالبہ کیا تھا۔

تحریک نفاذ فقہ جعفریہ (TNFJ) اور شیعہ علماء کونسل (SUC) کے رہنماؤں نے ICT انتظامیہ سے بتدریج حفاظتی انتظامات کو کم کرنے اور مقامی لوگوں کو جلوس میں کھلے عام شرکت کی اجازت دینے کا مطالبہ کیا تھا۔

جبکہ TNFJ کے صدر علامہ بشارت امامی نے کہا کہ پاکستانی عوام کے رویے سے قطع نظر ان کا فرقہ یا مذہب یہ ثابت کرتا ہے کہ وہ سب محب وطن ہیں اور ضرورت مندوں کی مدد کے لیے ہاتھ بڑھاتے ہیں۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ آج جب ہم یوم آزادی منا رہے ہیں تو یہ بات ذہن نشین کر لینی چاہیے کہ ہم بحیثیت قوم دشمن کی جارحیت کو شکست دینے کے قابل ہیں چاہے وہ بیرونی دشمن ہو یا مقامی دہشت گرد۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک تمام مذاہب کے لوگوں کا ہے اور عزاداری پر پابندیوں سے معاشرے میں تفرقہ ہی پیدا ہوگا، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ماتمی جلوسوں کے منتظمین کے خلاف مقدمات کے اندراج کا حالیہ واقعہ سراسر غیر اخلاقی ہے۔

چہلم امام حسین علیہ السلام کا مرکزی جلوس امام بارگاہ اشنا عشری G-6/2 سے برآمد ہوا اور سروس روڈ G-6، لال کوارٹر G-6/1-2 اور میلوڈی سے ہوتا ہوا اسی مقام پر اختتام پذیر ہوا۔

G- مقامی لوگوں نے بھی جلوس کے راستے پر پابندیاں ختم کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا کیونکہ وہ بھی ‘نیاز’ تقسیم کرنے اور شرکاء کے لیے سبیلیں لگانے کے لیے جلوس میں شرکت کرنا چاہتے تھے۔

دریں اثناء میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے مجلس وحدت مسلمین (ایم ڈبلیو ایم) کے وائس چیئرمین علامہ احمد اقبال رضوی نے روایتی جلوسوں اور گھروں میں منعقد ہونے والی مجالس میں ماتمی عزاداروں کے خلاف ایف آئی آر درج کرنے اور پنجاب حکومت کی جانب سے عائد دیگر پابندیوں کی مذمت کی۔

علامہ رضوی نے مزید کہا کہ اقتدار میں رہنے والے یہ سمجھ سکتے ہیں کہ اس طرح کے دباؤ کے ہتھکنڈوں سے امام حسین کی عزاداری نہیں رکے گی لیکن اس سے سنی برادری کے جذبات کو بھی ٹھیس پہنچ رہی ہے کیونکہ وہ بھی المناک کربلا کا سوگ منا رہے ہیں۔

وفاقی دارالحکومت میں ہلکی بارش کے ساتھ موسم معتدل رہا اور جلوس میں خواتین اور بچوں سمیت بڑی تعداد میں عزاداروں نے شرکت کی اور کربلا میں امام حسین (ع) اور ان کے ساتھیوں کی قربانیوں کو اجاگر کیا۔

امام حسین کا چہلم 20 صفر کو منایا جاتا ہے تاہم اسلام آباد میں ایک روز قبل جلوس نکالا جاتا ہے اور چہلم کا مرکزی جلوس (آج) جمعہ کو راولپنڈی میں نکالا جائے گا۔

ISLAMABAD: The main procession related to Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) was held here Thursday with relaxed security measures.

In view of the eradication of terror from Pakistan, political groups and local residents had demanded that the unnecessary security measures be lifted along the procession routes.

The leaders of Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh-i-Jaferia (TNFJ) and Shia Ulema Council (SUC) had demanded the ICT administration gradually reduce security arrangements and allow the locals to participate in the procession openly.

While Allama Basharat Imami, president TNFJ, said that behaviour of the people of Pakistan irrespective of their sect or religion had proven that they were all patriotic and extended helping hands to their countrymen in need.

“Today as we mark the Independence Day it has to be noted that we as a nation are able to beat the aggression of the enemy may it be the external foes or local terrorists,” he added.

He said that the country belongs to the people of all faiths and the restrictions on Azadari will only create divisions in society.

He added that the recent phenomenon of registering cases against the organisers of mourning processions was totally unethical.

The main procession of Chehlum Imam Hussain (AS) was taken out from Imam Bargah Asna Ashri G-6/2 and culminated at the same place after passing through Service Road G-6, Lal Quarter, G-6/1-2 and Melody.

The locals of G-6 too demanded ending of restrictions on the procession route as they too wanted to participate in the procession to distribute ‘niaz’ and set up sabeels for the participants.

Meanwhile, talking to media, vice chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi condemned lodging of FIRs against mourners in traditional processions and majalis held at homes and other restrictions imposed by the Punjab government.

Allama Rizvi added that those in power may understand that such pressure tactics will not stop Azadari of Imam Hussain, but it was hurting the sentiments of Sunni community too as they also mourn the tragic Karabala.

The weather conditions in the federal capital was mild with light rainfall and a large number faithful including women and children participated in the procession, highlighting the sacrifices rendered by Imam Husain (AS) and his companions in Karbala.

The Chehlum of Imam Hussain is observed on Safar 20, but the procession is held a day earlier in Islamabad and the main Chehlum procession will be held in Rawalpindi on Friday (today).
